Golf Channel Analyst Kay Cockerill and Friends Pay Visit to Pasadera

Former UCLA All American Golfer Kay Cockerill and various LPGA Alumni members paid a visit to Pasadera Country Club in early January. A total of eight golfers enjoyed the spectacular ambience of Pasadera’s Jack Nicklaus Signature golf experience.
Other members of the group included Beth Brown, a national education consultant to the First Tee program and former San Jose State golfer Dana Dormann. Upon conclusion of their round, the group stopped by the Club offices to share their unanimous praise of the condition and presentation of the golf course. They were particularly impressed with the green surfaces, which are arguably the finest on the Monterey Peninsula.
Prior to departing the Club, Kay also spent some time with one of the Club’s Partners, Fred Bates, to share her thoughts on the Club and the golf world. Kay travels to some of the top Clubs in the country, and she indicated in her remarks that Pasadera ranks right along side of the top Private Country Clubs in the country.
In addition to winning the U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship, Kay played for several seasons on the LPGA Tour. She has been a color analyst with the Golf Channel for more than a decade, and covers both the LPGA and Nationwide Tours.
